This piece is "chillin" out on our lower patio. Mark found it on the course next to the tree it came off of and we took a walk one day to see it. Carried it home between the two of us and it's been down there since. It's 17" x 33 " and I'm just thinking about where it might go. I'm very into organic right at the moment so it's definitely right up my design aesthetic. When it finally moves into the house I'll have to take another picture of it in it's new home.

Be sure to "debug" it before you bring it in the house. I've used some formerly nasty birch bark for projects!
How does one debug wood?
spray it really well with bug/termite type of spray and put in a sealed up garbage bag for awhile?
